Winners
receive a crown, sash, and trophy. There
will be two alternates chosen in each division.
All winners and alternates advance to the 2010 Kentucky Festival State
Pageant this November in Lexington. All
contestants who do not place in their age division will receive a participation
gift. Winners also have the option of attending Crusade for Children collections
during the weekend of June 5th and 6th. They may also appear on the live telethon with the Zoneton
Fire Department on Sunday, June 6th.
An optional
category for most photogenic will be held in each age division.
The contestant must enter a picture to compete.
The photogenic winner will receive a plaque.
No photos larger than
8 x 10 and no
framed photos.
Contestants
will need to fill out an information sheet and are encouraged to pre-register
but may complete
registration on the day of the pageant.
**There is a
$45.00 entry fee.
An additional
$5.00 fee is required to compete for photogenic.
All State
Pageant fees are the responsibility of the winner.
No personal checks will be accepted the
day of the pageant. CASH ONLY.
Personal checks will be accepted for
pre-registration, written to Crusade for Children
