2008 Donations *** Nearly 5,000 Toys!!!!

Each year contestants donate toys at preliminary pageants, but the big donations come from the state finals! As part
of competition for the humanitarian award at Kentucky Festival State Finals, contestants collect toys, stuffed animals, etc for their
local communities. Last year at the 2008 State pageant alone, contestants collected and donated nearly 4,000 toys. Way To Go!!
This has become a tradition with Kentucky Festival Pageants and we appreciate that families let their children participate
in giving back to their communities. Keep up the good work!

Help your local Children's Advocacy Center by donating stuffed animals or blankets. They give each child that comes to the center one of these items to comfort them at their difficult time.
